My Words

He recognized himself in a pool at his feet. Formed by the very oceans his eyes created from a single thought. He started to drift into the waves crashing his heart He bent over to wipe away the reality Knowing it was only a mere reflection of his imagination. His heart ran wild like a beast running from its predator Unable to keep up, he let it run. He circles like the moon always one face towards the light always one face towards the darkness For now He sits lifeless bottle to his lips eyes to the sky wandering for answers. He knows not of anything or anyone capable of saving him but his own heart, that is nowhere to be found but in the one ocean of tears created by the one thought crossing through mind.

With a shaky voice she fell to her knees Cross in hand. Thoughts in mind. Empty hearted, she began. Spilling pleas like water through a broken damn. Intended prayers that came as shouts. Trusting that He actually gave a damn. Frustration turned to anger. Wanting turned to desperation. Waiting turned into hopelessness. Sweat turned to tears. And finally, Her head fell to the ground. Parallel with the devil himself. Shaky voice she remained silent. Content found her face as the cross, thrown from her grasp, shattered. she irreversibly lowered her expectations finally to be met by anyone who would answer them.
