Galentine's Day

If you are anything like me, you are just trying to survive the winter without completely transforming into an icicle...and getting through Valentine's Day without taking a total mental turn for the worse. Valentine's Day can be fun!...if you have a significant other to spend it with. Being surrounded by couples does not make it any better either, but thankfully, Galentine's Day is a day before and one hundred times better! 
Thanks to Leslie Knope and her desperate need for love on Valentine's Day, we now have Galentine's Day! This is a day dedicated to kicking it with your girl friends and appreciating the most important people in your life before the boyfriends and husbands. This has turned me from a Valentine hater to a Galentine lover! You get to spend a whole day with the better halves of all relationships and it helps remind those "drowning in love," that their friends come first and are willing to save them if need be. For those of you in relationships this Valentine's Day season, it is okay to enjoy the holiday with your special someone, but don't leave us single bachelorette's in the dust! Keep in mind that your friends are a priority, so plan diligently and make the best of the day.
The beauty of Galentine's Day is that there is no way to do it wrong! As long as there are no boys, you are in the clear. Do not be reluctant to leave your man for your girls! He wants you to enjoy a day with your ride or dies just as much as you do. All guys understand that his girl needs her girls. If he is the guys you think he is, he will not have a problem with it at all! You can be as elaborate or low key as you want with your plans. Whether you choose to stay in with popcorn and have a movie marathon or go out to dinner with a big group of friends, you will have a blast. 
So, don't be afraid to open that bottle of merlot a day early and share it with the ladies that deserve it most. Though you may think he's the one, you will come to realize that the girls standing by your side will always be the ones you need to get you through the guys that you don't.

Religion

I had my religion final today and wrote this for one of my essays! We had to write something creative about your faith. It's a little shaky, but I only had 20 minutes to write it. Hope you enjoy! I am sent from God in the heavens above. My father has sent me to be the holy one. I am strong with faith and forgiving to all. Anyone can be catholic, just read the conversion of Paul. My teachings can be found in all four gospels. Wait until you read the signs and see the stunts that i pull. I ate with tax collectors and even walked on water. I forgave the girl who committed adultery: she too is God's daughter. I'm here to spread the good news and give religion  start. Faith isn't found in a science book, but in your heart. You should go to church on the holy sabbath day, although I am always listening to you pray. Live by the commandments, it isn't hard to do. Just do unto others as you want them to do unto you. Lifeless

Scrape my soul, eat me up. Take my life, don't leave me rough. Somewhere unknown, in a wood far off, there we'll stay with our lifeless love. Be my foundation to be deadly insane. Help me forget the world that continues to maim. Scatter me in a haven where the ashes disappear, but leave remnants so they know I'm still here. Forever we'll stay in hearts that don't beat, as we travel the globe finding a place to sleep. Never one place too long, they'll know what I'm keeping, but they can't know what I am if their bodies stop breathing.
