My Voice

You can't hear me
Yet.
Someday I'll be grown
With a voice of my own

Inside I am
Screaming.
My mind's not at ease
When it's you I have to please

The rules I will
Break
When you're no longer around
To force my smile into a frown

Against you I will
Fight

When I have my own sound

Fire and Ice

From the beginning, we’ve been frozen in a deadened state. But, the room around us slowly catches fire and the things that were so masochistic in our cold hearts go up in flames. Within seconds, everything we knew is one big pile of ash. Nothing is distinguishable. Nothing remains except the burns from the once existent flames. The thing about fire is that it disappears after there’s no oxygen left for it to swallow up. It leaves us gasping for air as it transforms our life giving surroundings into smoke filled poison. The air, or what remains of it, is black. What’s behind us is synonymous to what is in front of us. Nothing makes sense and we can’t deviate from the thick cloud suffocating our lungs. But we don’t let it bother us because in the end, burning is far better than being numb. The emotionless cold that we once lived in was unbearable. Religion

I had my religion final today and wrote this for one of my essays! We had to write something creative about your faith. It's a little shaky, but I only had 20 minutes to write it. Hope you enjoy! I am sent from God in the heavens above. My father has sent me to be the holy one. I am strong with faith and forgiving to all. Anyone can be catholic, just read the conversion of Paul. My teachings can be found in all four gospels. Wait until you read the signs and see the stunts that i pull. I ate with tax collectors and even walked on water. I forgave the girl who committed adultery: she too is God's daughter. I'm here to spread the good news and give religion  start. Faith isn't found in a science book, but in your heart. You should go to church on the holy sabbath day, although I am always listening to you pray. Live by the commandments, it isn't hard to do. Just do unto others as you want them to do unto you.
