A Letter From My Grandma

"Remember the beautiful memories of yesterday, experience the incredible joy of today and look forward to the fantastic magic of tomorrow. Laugh often, long, and loud until you gasp for breath. Forgive those who make you cry because you will laugh with them tomorrow. And remember my beautiful girl, I will always love you."

Just Okay

“The way the world was shaped was different in her eyes. She tried her best not to slip off the edge of the earth, while everyone else just rolled around it’s curves. It’s difficult to talk about her. She didn’t say much because to her, there was never much to say. This is one of the things that made her so unique. She was there: A simple existence in a complicated void. She was never okay, but that was never the issue at hand for her. Everyone seemingly deals with big mass destructions in their vivacities. She wasn’t dealing with anything. She was just herself. For some, that’s good enough, but for her, it never was. She listened intently and never spoke out of turn.   We kept pouring it on her and she kept taking it. Not once did she complain. The best advice always came from her. She would spew all styles of intelligence and people continually absorbed it. There wasn’t a problem too challenging for her to dissect. She liked this about herself, but it still was not enoug...

Undiscovered Journey

There’s a plan to follow, there’s a choice to make Choose carefully the path you decide to endure Find reasons to move forward without a smile to fake Once you embark on this journey you are mine no more The people you meet will help piece it together Finding things to recreate that modify the heart Realize your burdens don’t hold strong forever And know the beauty in each broken part So never fall short on the dreams that you chase Make all your choices and follow them through Always remember to color any undiscovered blank space And the end’s only the beginning of something brand new

Our Life

Don't live your life alone, go love all your neighbors. It's a big great world that we need to soon savior. It will be swept from our hands before we can count blessings think of the lives we change by the amount that we're spending. Go spread the word that times running out. We live on a clock we know nothing about. You only have so many days to discover your riches because in a system this big we need to be more than just glitches. Explore deeper meanings and understand all prospectives. Don't be fooled by the lies and sold misconceptions. We have bigger hearts that we want to admit, but we have to learn to give back before it's time to quit. So reach out to others before you need a walker to stand. Give to others in life early so later they'll too lend a hand. We can travel the globe while standing in our lawns because the use of cellphones is not yet frowned upon. Use your mind to do well and always work your hardest because later in life you won't make ...

Hopeless

Help me find love in the darkness of night. Swallow the arrow of Cupid's own bow. Silence your mind at the break of days light.

Snapped Strings

The feelings take by storm all quivering hearts. Each snap pulls strings attached to my being Into the air it flies...worrying starts As trust is placed without guaranteeing. Our teams we choose whole heartily transform the judgments made of other colors worn. In homes we gather weekly to conform to hate the teammates failing to perform. But for the love of games we choose to stay supporting friend's and family's favorite teams. For this is what consumes us each Sunday. That flying ball represents grown men's dreams. Dawn our colors without a second thought. Those jerseys make us someone we're not.

Shadow Space

Slowly like a predator waiting in the shadows you crept up on me Attacked me You tore me down just to let others pick up the pieces. But It began to lighten Every time I was laid on that silver table Every time I saw that light above my eyes Every time someone stopped by to stay I love you So much Has happened But you've drawn me to you Despite your malicious tantrums and you're destructive hand holding It really breaks my heart to know that they're only here for you But deep down I always knew that the cancer killing me is what I've grown most fond to.
