My Words

I had my religion final today and wrote this for one of my essays! We had to write something creative about your faith. It's a little shaky, but I only had 20 minutes to write it. Hope you enjoy! I am sent from God in the heavens above. My father has sent me to be the holy one. I am strong with faith and forgiving to all. Anyone can be catholic, just read the conversion of Paul. My teachings can be found in all four gospels. Wait until you read the signs and see the stunts that i pull. I ate with tax collectors and even walked on water. I forgave the girl who committed adultery: she too is God's daughter. I'm here to spread the good news and give religion  start. Faith isn't found in a science book, but in your heart. You should go to church on the holy sabbath day, although I am always listening to you pray. Live by the commandments, it isn't hard to do. Just do unto others as you want them to do unto you. I know it's hard to believe without really seeing, ...

Your burdens can be an anchor, always weighing you down. Just like a sinking ship in danger, slowly finding the ocean ground. But when you jump into the sea, you bob back to the surface because although we have flaws, in someone else's eyes you're perfect. You know the fear of going under, so you stay afloat. You try to shake those burdens that continue to sink your boat. They come flooding to your mind and you start to think, "I know how to swim...I refuse to sink."

Represent the wings that could carry you to freedom. Reason with the gods, for they're your only leader. Understand the words that could eventually save your soul. Stand by what your heart says and achieve every goal. Brush away the poison that can get inside your head. Live by the words of wise ones and be happy instead. Simply read the warning signs and anticipate the worst because when you find your happiness, make sure that you're the source.

Most people can say that they fear the dark. But, I don't think it's the dark we should be afraid of because when it's dark it simply means that you can't see the things that scare you. You can only focus on how pitch black it is and nothing else. In the dark the only thing you can anticipate is the light.

Scrape my soul, eat me up. Take my life, don't leave me rough. Somewhere unknown, in a wood far off, there we'll stay with our lifeless love. Be my foundation to be deadly insane. Help me forget the world that continues to maim. Scatter me in a haven where the ashes disappear, but leave remnants so they know I'm still here. Forever we'll stay in hearts that don't beat, as we travel the globe finding a place to sleep. Never one place too long, they'll know what I'm keeping, but they can't know what I am if their bodies stop breathing. For now I'm here playing life on, but don't be surprised when you wake up and I'm gone.
